- occurs as a steady-state complex associated with activating signal cointegrator 1 complex.
- interacts with the ligand binding domain of thyroid receptor
- mediator of transrepression between nuclear receptor & either AP1 or NF-kappa-B
- role in androgen receptor transactivation & in testicular function (putative)
- specifically interacts with the ligand binding domain of the thyroid hormone receptor; interaction requires presence of thyroid hormone
- exists as a steady-state complex associated with ASCC1, ASCC2 & HELIC1
- interacts with androgen receptor (androgen-dependent)
