Etiology
- idiopathic
- may occur in association with:
Pathology
- enlargement & inflammation of mesenteric lymph nodes
Clinical manifestations
- right lower abdominal pain
- fever
- diarrhea in < 50%
Radiology
- computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen shows lymph nodes > 5 mm[2]
Complications
- unneccessary appendectomy
