iliopectineal line (terminal line, linea terminalis)

Introduction

An oblique ridge on the inner surface of the ilium & continued on the pubis.

• forms the lower boundary of the iliac fossa
• separates the true pelvis from the false pelvis.

The iliac portion is called the arcuate line.
