Introduction

Study characteristics: 60 patients

Autologous bone marrow stem cells infused into revascularized coronary arteries after myocardial infarction, 5 days after revascularization.

Group receiving stem cells had 6% higher LVEF than controls after 6 months.

No difference in rates of ventricular ectopy or restenosis.
