Introduction
A malignant neoplasm of the ovary (counterpart of seminoma of the testis), occuring more frequently in patients less than 20 years of age.
Pathology
- composed of undifferentiated gonadal germ cells
- contain foci of necrosis & hemorrhage & tend to be encapsulated
- spread by way of lymphatic vessels
