- ACTH-resistant adrenal failure
- achalasia of the esophageal cardia
- alacrima
- variable & progressive neurological impairment involving the central, peripheral, & autonomic nervous system
Genetics
- autosomal recessive
- associated with defects in aladin gene
Clinical manifestations
- variable & progressive neurological impairment
- palmoplantar hyperkeratosis
- short stature
- facial dysmorphy
- osteoporosis
