Introduction

Tradenames: Tuss-Ornade, Spansule. Caramiphen edisylate 40 mg + phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride 75 mg.

Indications

• symptomatic relief of cough & nasal congestion due to the common cold

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to caramiphen or phenylpropanolamine
• concurrent MAO therapy
• bronchial asthma
• severe hypertension

Dosage

1 capsule every 12 hours
