- octopamine (norepinephrine-like)
Clinical significance
- 12 % of sports supplements contained >= 1 FDA-prohibited ingredient
- including synthetic stimulants: 1,4-dimethylamylamine, deterenol, octodrine, oxilofrine, omberacetam {1]
- 40% did not contain any of the listed label ingredients
- 60% contained some of the label ingredients
- contents ranged from 0.02%-334% of the said amount of ingredient
