- corneal dendrites are due to Herpes simplex ophthalmicus

- ophthalmoscopy
Differential diagnosis
- corneal pseudodendrite due to Herpes zoster ophthalmicus
- yellow pseudodendrites have a branching appearance & appear stuck on without associated corneal ulceration
