Introduction
Extended cycle oral contraceptive. (91 day menstrual cycle) Contains ethinyl estradiol 30 ug + levonorgestrel 150 ug
Indications

Adverse effects
- may be more spotting between menstrual periods
- migraines during placebo days
Mechanism of action
- allows women to cycle every 91 days (seasonally)
- contraceptive suppresses endometrial thickening, thus monthly bleeding unnecessary to slough endometrium
