Introduction

Contains: estradiol

Indications

• post-menopausal estrogen replacement

Dosage

• 2 foil packages/day equivalent to 0.05 mg of estradiol
• rub contents of one packet onto top of thigh & back of calf
• repeat on opposite leg
• women with uterus also need progestin to reduce risk of endometrial cancer

Adverse effects

• skin to skin contact can transfer Estrasorb to partner

Drug interactions

• do NOT apply Estrasorb & sunscreen at the same time sunscreen can increase estrogen absorption
