Introduction

These products generally contain magnolia bark extract or phosphatidylserine are are supposed to reduce cortisol. They may also contain stimulants:

• bitter orange (contains synephrine)
• green tea extract (contains caffeine)

There is no proof that these products lower plasma cortisol or facilitate weight loss.
