Pathology
Clinical manifestations
- tachycardia, hypotension, cardiogenic shock may occur
Laboratory
- serum troponin I elevated
- serum NT-proBNP elevated
- plasma metanephrines for pheochromocytoma
Diagnostic procedures
- electrocardiogram may show tachycardia, poor R-wave progression, T-wave inversions, prolonged QTc interval
- echocardiogram shows low LV ejection fraction, apical ballooning
