Etiology
Pathology
- the name would imply carcinomatosis spreading through the lymphatics
- lymphangitic spread of metastatic cancer
Radiology
- high resolution chest CT if pulmomary metastases suspected
- hilar lymphadenopathy, mediastinal lymphadenopathy & interstitial lung changes in a patient treated for breast cancer[1]
- ground glass opacification not seen[1]
