Pathology

• conjugated bilirubin appears in the urine

Laboratory

• urine bilirubin
• urine apperance: brown urine

Notes

• Gilbert's syndrome & Crigler-Najjar syndrome result in increased unconjugated bilirubin in the serum, thus do not result in bilirubinuria
