Indications
- screening for primary hyperaldosteronism in conjunction with plasma aldosterone[2]
Contraindications
- do not use to stratify patients with hypertension
- do nor use to predict response to specific antihypertensives[2]

- decreases (false positives for primary hyperaldosteronism)
- increases (false negatives for primary hyperaldosteronism)
