Radiology
- bilateral diagnostic mammography if diagnosis of breast cancer not established
- breast MRI may be more sensitive for detecting breast cancer in patients with BRCA1 mutations & BRCA2 mutations
Management
- if imaging is negative (isolated adenocarcinoma of axillary lymph noder). left axillary dissection & management as primary breast cancer
