Indications
- treatment of post-operative inflammation after cataracts surgery
- cystoid macular edema
- photophobia due to ocular inflammation
Dosage
- 1 drop QID beginning 24 hours after surgery & continuing for 2 weeks
Solution: ophthalmic 0.1% (5 mL)
Adverse effects
- ocular irritation, transient (> 10%)
- keratitis (1-10%)
- elevated intraocular pressure (1-10%)
- uncommon (< 1%)
- blurred vision, change in vision, anterior chamber reaction, ocular allergy, nausea/vomiting, anaphylaxis, increased sweating
- patients with hdrogel soft contact lenses have experienced ocular irritation
