Indications
cutaneous candidiasis with pruritus
Contraindications
Dosage
Cream: Nystatin 100,00 units/gram, triamcinolone 0.1% 15, 30, 60 g.
Ointment: Nystatin 100,00 units/gram, triamcinolone 0.1% 15, 30, 60, 120* g.

Adverse effects
- not common (1-10%)
- dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne, hypopigmentation, allergic dermatitis, maceration of the skin, skin atrophy, burning, itching, irritation, secondary infection
Mechanism of action
- corticosteroid
- binding of fungal sterols resulting in altered fungus cell wall permeability
