Introduction

Tradename: Mycostatin, Nilstat.

Indications

  • treatment of non-invasive, generally topical fungal infections
  • most active against Candidal yeast infections

Dosage

Solution: 100,000 units/mL Suspension (oral) 100,000 units/gram (60 mL). Tablet (oral): 500,000 units

Cream: 100,00 units/gram (15 g, 30 g)

Ointment: 100,000 units/gram (15 g, 30 g)

Powder: (topical) 100,000 units/gram (15 g)

Vaginal tablet: 100,000 units (15 & 30 boc with applicator)

Troches: 200,000 units

elimination via feces
