Introduction

A small wave on ECG following the T wave, best seen in leads V2 & V3.

Clinical significance

same polarity as T wave

• digitalis
• quinidine
• hypokalemia
• thyrotoxicosis
• epinephrine

opposite polarity as T wave

• left anterior descending coronary artery stenosis
• left main coronary artery stenosis
