Air-filled concha in the nose. Normal variant.
Epidemiology
- 50% of population
Pathology
- a large concha bullosa may obstruct the opening of an adjacent paranasal sinus
- may be associated with a deviated nasal septum
Management
- endoscopic resection for symptomatic sinus obstruction
