Medicare reimbursed services at skilled nursing facility (SNF) level

Introduction

Medicare reimbursed services at SNF:

• tube feeding - >= 50% of calories/day
• renal dialysis with monitoring (new diagnosis only)
• bladder & bowel training
• parenteral pain management
• IV antibiotics
• IV fluids with supplements
• physical therapy, occupational therapy &/or speech therapy 5x/week
• tracheal suctioning at least twice/shift
• injectable medications every 8 hours or BID
• sterile wound care daily
