Course
- a band of long association nerve fibers connecting the frontal lobe & temporal lobe of the cerebrum
- the fasciculus runs caudally through white matter of the frontal lobe, curving ventrally at the edge of the Sylvian fissure, then fans out to the cerebral cortex of the anterior 1/2 of the superior temporal gyrus & middle temporal gyrus
