Introduction
A network of interjoining nerves & blood vessels or of lymphatic vessels.
There are 4 main nerve plexuses
- cervical plexus supplies nerves to the posterior head & neck & to the diaphragm muscle (phrenic nerve)
- brachial plexus supplies nerve to the arms
- lumbar plexus supplies nerves to the anterior leg
- sacral plexus supplies nerves to the posterior leg
