Introduction
One of 2 nervous plexuses (anterior & posterior) on the walls of the esophagus.
Origin
- right vagus nerve & left recurrent (laryngeal?) nerve (anterior)
- anastomosing trunks of the vagus from the pulmonary plexuses (posterior)
