Indications
- relief of constipation
- phosphate replacement
Dosage
Bottles: 4.5 oz, 118 mL containing 26 g of phosphate & 4.4 g of sodium
Pharmacokinetics
- onset of bowel relief is in 2-15 minutes or 1-2 hours
- elimination: enema not absorbed
elimination via feces
Adverse effects
- hyperphosphatemia resulting from excessive PO intake
- electrolyte imbalances[4]
- dehydration[4]
- renal failure[4]
