Function
- cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase
- controls progression through mitosis & G1 phase of cell cycle
- promotes degradation of key mitotic regulatory proteins
- required for anaphase initiation & exit from mitosis.
- activated by cdc20 & HCDH1 which bind to & activate its
- cyclin ubiquitination activity
