• acts as a specific receptor for N-terminus of Nogo-B, a neural & cardiovascular regulator.
• regulates vascular remodeling & angiogenesis
• similarity with UPP synthetase proteins suggests that it may act as a scaffold for the binding of isoprenyl lipids &/or prenylated proteins
• although strongly related to UPP synthetase family proteins, it has no lipid transferase activity
