• cell adhesion protein that participates in lymphocyte recirculation by mediating the binding of lymphocytes to peripheral lymph node vascular endothelial cells (L-selectin independent) fashion
• monoamine oxidase activity
• topaquinone (TPQ) is generated by Cu+2-dependent autoxidation of a specific tyrosyl residue

• binds 1 Cu+2 per subunit
