• acts as an adapter ERBB2 receptor in epithelia, restricting its presence to the basolateral membrane of epithelial cells
• binds unphosphorylated Tyr-1248 of receptor ERBB2, stabilizing unphosphorylated state
• interacts with ERBB2, BPAG1 & ITGB4
• may play role in localization of ERBB2 to the basolateral membrane of epithelial cells
• also interacts with ARVCF & delta catenin
• interacts (via C-terminus) with DST isoform 3 (via N-terminus)

• contains 17 LRR repeats (leucine-rich repeats)
• contains 1 PDZ domain (DHR domain)
