• inhibitor of Wnt signaling
• may function either by interacting with Wnt preventing binding to frizzled or forming nonfunctional complexes with frizzled

Structure

• in addition to sRFP1-5, other family members include sizzled-1 & sizzled-2 & crescent, homologs of which have not been identified in mammals
