  • 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine (AZT)
  • 2',3'-dideoxycytidine (ddC)
• may be involved in the intestinal absorption & renal handling of pyrimidine nucleoside analogs used to treat HIV1

Inhibition:

• adenosine, thymidine, cytidine, uridine >> guanosine, inosine
