Introduction
Acute dystonic reactions, akathesia, restlessness, parkinsonism & tardive dyskinesia.
Etiology
- pharmacologic causes:
- butyrophenones (e.g. haloperidol, thioridazine)
- levodopa
- methyldopa
- metoclopramide
- oral contraceptives
- phenothiazines
- tricyclic antidepressants
