Introduction
Complex activities required for independent living, such as using a telephone, home management, cooking, use of public transportation, shopping, taking medications or financial management.
The instrumental ADL score[3] is based on:
- using the telephone
- shopping
- food preparation
- housekeeping
- laundry
- transportation
- taking medication
- managing money
1 point for each; maximum of 8 points.
