Epidemiology
- onset between birth & 2 years of age
Pathology
- tumor of mast cells
- often a solitary lesion
Clinical manifestations
- macular, papular or nodular lesions
- color: yellow, tan, pink
- lesions may become raised & erythematous (i.e. urticate) when gently stroked (Darier's sign)
