Introduction
Facilitates RNA polymerase 2 transcription elongation past template-encoded arresting sites. These arresting sites trap a some of the elongating RNA polymerase, resulting in block of transcription. Cleavage of the nascent transcript by S-II allows the resumption of elongation from the new 3'terminus.
