Pathology
- occlusion of the posterior branch of the left middle cerebral artery
- ischemic infarction in the left angular gyrus
Clinical manifestations
- alexia
- agraphia
- acalculia
- anomia
- visuospatial difficulties
Radiology
- CT or MRI may show pathology in the left angular gyrus
Differential diagnosis
- may mimick many features of Alzheimer's disease
