Introduction

Any of 4 passages in the nasal cavity formed by the projection of the conchae.

• inferior nasal meatus lies below the inferior concha
• middle nasal meatus lies between the middle c. & inferior concha
• superior nasal meatus lies between the superior c. & middle concha
• common nasal meatus is part of the nasal cavity between the conchae & the nasal septum
