Sal acid (salicylic acid 40% plaster)

Indications

• warts
• corns
• callouses
• seborrheic dermatitis
• dandruff
• psorisis
• keratoderma
• acne
• pruritus

Contraindications

• diabetes mellitus
• peripheral vascular disease (risk of ulceration)

Dosage

• apply to affected area after soaking of affected area in warm water for 5 minutes
• apply only to wart/corn/callous site

Adverse effects

• local irritation to the surrounding skin
