Indications
- treatment of folate, vitamin B12 or vitamin B6 deficiency
- treatment of hyperhomocysteinemia
- NO benefit for secondary stroke prevention[1]

Mechanism of action
- diminished mean serum homocysteine levels from 13.4 umo/L to 11 umol/L
