Pathology
- most B-cell lymphomas orginate from germinal centers
- BCL6 transcription factor plays a central role in establishing the germinal cell phenotype in B cells
- most lymphomas are dependent on BCL6 to maintain survival, proliferation, & immune evasion[1]
Management
- R-CHOP* is generally standard of care when treatment is indicated
* rituximab/cyclophosphamide/doxorubicin/vincristine/prednisone
