Introduction
Combination vaccine, containing:
- diphtheria vaccine
- tetanus toxoid
- acellular Pertussis vaccine
- hepatitis B vaccine
- Poliovirus vaccine inactivated
Indications
(advantages)
- decreases childhood vaccinations from 9 to 3
Contraindications
- infants under 6 weeks
- infants needing a birth dose of hepatitis B vaccine
Dosage
- given at 2, 4 & 6 months
Store refrigated 2-8 C, good for 72 hours at room temperature[2]
