Indications
- radioprotective agent during radiation therapy
A single injection of CBLB502 prior to lethal total body radiation protects mice from gastrointestinal & hematopoietic acute radiation syndrome & results in improved survival does not decrease tumor radiosensitivity CBLB502 is protective in lethally irradiated rhesus monkeys[1]
Mechanism of action
- toll-like receptor-5 TLR5 agonist, activates NF-kappa D signalling
