• pregnancy

Epidemiology

• 90% of pregnant women by the 3rd trimester

Clinical manifestations

• red, pink, or purple depressed atrophic streaks distributed in areas of adipose tissue (abdomen, buttocks, breasts, thighs)
• regression after delivery
• residual white streaks remain (striae albicantes)
