Indications
- suspected Graves disease
- suspected euthyroid Graves ophthalmopathy
- pregnancy complicated by Graves disease
- atypical fluctuating hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism
Clinical significance
- antibody stimulating TSH receptors in thyroid, autonomous with regard to negative feedback from T3, T4
