Pathology
- deposition of lipofuscin in the sweat glands
- generally affects the apocrine glands, mainly on the face, underarms, & genitalia[2]
- may be role for chromogenic pigments produced by Corynebacteria
- eccrine chromhidrosis is rare & occurs with ingestion of certain dyes or drugs[2]
