Epidemiology
- rare
- predominantly affects children
Pathology
- benign dermatosis
- may also affect nails
Clinical manifestations
- sudden eruption of small papules on an extremity
- generally unilateral
- distribution according Blaschko's lines
- maximum involvement within several days to weeks
- generally asymptomatic
- pruritus most common symptom
- may resolve with residual hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation
