Indications

• temporary relief of burning & itching due to xerophthalmia (dry eyes)

Contraindications

pregnancy-category A

Dosage

• solution: 1-2 drops PRN
• ointment: apply a small amount to the inside of the eyelid

Adverse effects

• mild stinging
• temporary blurred vision
