Indications
- suspected factor VII deficiency with prolonged PT, but normal aPTT & thrombin time; normal RVVT suggests factor VII deficiency
- part of a screening panel for antiphospholipid antibodies; RVVT should be prolonged in the presence of antiphospho- lipid antibodies
Reference interval
- 33-44 seconds[3]
